in the years I have been obsessed with Fausto Puglisi design (some of my styling is here, here, here and here) so not surprisingly, I have to vote on his catwalk presentation that #MFW #SS2016 show in Milan. On the basis of some spectacular shows, he managed to steal the spotlight with a show that mixed effortlessly the cow punk with Gianni Versace's 80s beloved pop culture experiences.

Mr. Puglisi spring 2016 collection was as always rude and full of sex appeal but he softened the feel with probably the best take on the Roman goddess dress I've seen in a while :

what can I say man knows how to make cowboy boots look feminine and suitable for a Royal Gala!

very prominent again was Puglisi's staples, intricate embroidery and masterful color blocking, but the colors were softer and more decent. But of course the wonderful tailored jackets hmm dresses. I grip when I saw first, it was really an immediate flashback to the Versaces best shows:

#Puglisi is the equivalent of punk rock in the fashion world. Since arriving on the scene #MilanFashionWeek three years ago he has broken the chains of communicated to pretentiousness and have injected needed a much youthful enthusiasm and zeal in the fashion stores.

as a designer he is bold, loud, uncompromising and crude oil. No surprise that in the world of couture he is the embodiment of the street style and rock star posturing.

now don't get me wrong I love the effortless elegance Nina Richi and Carolina Herrera, but brings a different dimension Puglisi to modern femininity who have mostly been gone since #GianniVersace's untimely death.
