I think I found Eden! Literally. It exists and it's called # Iceland Laucala Resort.
Red Bull founder Dietrich Mateschitz bought the 5 km far, 3500 acre private Island East of Taveuni, Fiji from the Forbes family in 2003 and in 2012 he opened the property to the public as well! the most exclusive resort you will ever find. For just south of $ 4400 per night (off season of course) guests at the hotel's 25 Villas enjoy pristine beaches, turquoise waters, lush tropical areas, spectacular cliff top views and access to the 18-hole golf, a private airport, several private yachts, five restaurants, world class diving, horseback riding, surfing, spa, a man-made lagoon with a glass-cube length pool ... you get it. You want to have. they have it!
each private villa is individually decorated with furnishings of the Fijian materials and includes a private pool, outdoor living space with indoor and outdoor stone tub-views, but is free!
now, if a reader this post, the odds are you are not on the Laucala (same here!). As disappointing as it is, if you want to channel some of that awesomeness in your own home, here are some options that should provide some tropical mojo in your home, even if you live, oh! Let say in Ohio and you do not have the wonderful thatched roof:

and if that's not enough the resort is thriving on its own eco-sufficiency. They grow their own livestock and vegetables and hand make all guest products on the island with surrounding natural resources.
not surprisingly, meals, drinks, and service at the resort is an experience on its own.
white gloves service
on the menu in the main restaurant is under the control of the Executive Chef Anthony Healy which was recently cited by Spafinder who has explained that "with all of these programs on TV , guests now know, or at least they know, more about the food, so all must really be on their toes. The guest's expectations are different, guests are interested in the kitchen, what's going on behind it? Who's the Cook? They can meet them? Years ago the cooks lived in the kitchen and guests would not have anything to do with going behind the scenes. " And he apparently embraces his position as Ambassador for the hotel with flying colors.
