Yes! It is a great, a big difference in the way we package for holiday in terms of quick business trip. I'm no exception. I spend a lot of time mapping each day of the upcoming holidays as I want to be prepared for every possible occasion or activity that can come together (with the right outfit and shoes of course ...). So as you can imagine, I show up at the airport with a lot of luggage for vacation. When I'm on the fast business, is well it's another story.

with the hassle it is to go through the airport luggage claim these days-I just can't do it. The results when traveling short period times keep I strictly to two carry-on bags rule that airlines have for us all. Yes, ladies I know the math: it's a purse plus a carry-on that will fit wheels first in the fixed bin. And as we position in summer, there are extra challenges, as I was reminded of the last 72 hours trip to melt-you brain kind of tropical weather.

so, here are my five golden rules to keep it together on the road:

rule number 1:

select the wrinkle free or almost wrinkle free clothes that you can rotate out for a day to night look. The last thing you want to deal with on the road is not for the Rapids, for to mention the quality of the iron in the hotel ... I prefer silk, cotton based blends, and sheets because they mold on you as you have them and look natural even after a 5 hour flight or on a sticky moist summer Miami-like day ...      

rule number 2:

stay hydrated both inside and out, literally. Not underline eno ugh how important it is to drink plenty of water while you travel. Trust me, I know how easy it is to forget and ditch water bottle and over enjoy coffee and ahhh! These sweet mixed drinks topped with paper umbrellas. Apart from all the health consequences is your worst enemy skin dehydration. I keep always a face Mr. (a travel size under 3 oz.) and a bottle of water with me all the time and use the both generously when you travel.

rule number 3:

have the right make up with you all the time. In Los Angeles, we are blessed with great weather year-around so it is easy to underestimate the importance of the right make up on hot and humid, really humid days. On my last trip in such adverse conditions I put to the test a brand I was asked to review-do, New York City company that specializes in paraben free products and donates 10% of the sale until we see the beauty of the Foundation that supports women-led and worker-owned cooperative businesses across America. but back to makeup and beauty tricks ... I don't use foundation and boy! I was happy about it in Miami. I have a very fair and translucid skin so all foundation looking cakey and mask-like on me. After years of searching and trying I finally gave up and then I start with a quality moisturizing and contour day cream instead of foundation. If you use foundation, but on a hot and humid day-resist the temptation: power, but not bloat sweat for a more natural and Matt appearance to suit the surroundings.

the Taffy has a deep purple-red overtone and contains antioxidants vitamins, rosehip, soybean and safflower oil. I don't like glossy lipstick so I was pleasantly surprised at how goods and effective it resided in the course of the day. My daughter tried it as well and the color was different for her, much more purply. So if you want to get close to the color of the product as it appears on the shell, you can try to use powder foundation on the lips before the program.

I liked the alabaster eyeshadow, it has hot natural color tone with a little peachy color that would look very natural and flattering with simple makeup.

rule number four

you must have a tube of sun-screen in your travel bag. Summer is the time we head to the tropical and sunny places and odds are you are not quite used to this type of Sun. Even on a cloudy breezy days you will burn to a crisp. Find a good sunscreen is a challenge. These days I Choose Alba botanical very emollient Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30. rule number five

do yourself a favor and stop at your nail salon for a pedicure before all of the trips. You see, on the way we want to be comfortable (whatever that means to you that i live in heals so flip flops are not in my arsenal) and 9 times out of 10 that would translate in your opting for some open toe shoe ... Do not destroy a perfect excursion because you are self conscious about your this little greedy ... you get my drift.
